Neil Island(Shaheed Dweep) - Travel With Hope

Hello Friends
Let's start new day with new hope, new inspiration by exploring new places. We planned our trip for relaxation of body. Let's know about Neil Island and how to travel, what to eat, what activity can do etc......
About Nail Island-
Neil Island was named after British Brigadier general James Nail. In December 2018, it was renamed as Shaheed Dweep as a recognition for Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Bose had hoisted the Indian flag at Port Blair on 30 December 1943 and proclaimed the Andaman and Nicobar Islands as territories liberated form British rule. The majority of the settlers at Shaheed Dweep were refugees from what was once East Pakistan, having fled with the Hindu population of Bangladesh before the country's independence war in 1971.
Transportation -
The sole point of access to the island is the jetty located at Nail Kendra. Regular government ferries run between Port Blair and Shaheed Dweep. Private cruise ships include ITT Majestic, Makruzz, Green Ocean, and Nautika.
You can rent a bike, a two-wheeler, or a private taxi to explore Shaheed Dweep.
The difference between government and private ferries
The more popular way for tourists to travel between islands is via private ferries. They have air conditioning, are tidy and are cozy. They have canteens and food counters available, are faster than government ferries, and have onboard assistance, so you don't have to worry if you get the munchies during the trip. Purchasing a private ferry ticket is straightforward and nearly always results in a confirmed ticket. Tickets for private ferries can cost between around Rs. 1200 to Rs. 2500 depending on the class of service.
On the other hand, locals prefer the government boats. There are two different fare categories: non-islander (Rs. 450 onwards) and islander (Rs. 50 onwards). There aren't many seats set aside for tourists, and it can be difficult to get one. Moreover, the experience on board might not be as enjoyable as it is on private airlines. Certain government ferries are antiquated, sluggish, and may have uncomfortable, hard seats. Government ferries are a great deal, but it's unfortunate that there is no online booking option and that tickets are not guaranteed! The open deck and the local experience make up for it, though.

Our Experience -
Beautiful morning with breath taking Sun around Water. And we enjoyed a Sound of sea, beauty of waves and also Sun. We were going to Neil Island Today so we finished our breakfast at Exotica Beach Resort. Our car was ready to drop us at Havelock Jetty. During ride from Hotel to jetty we talked with driver, I don't remember his name but he was so kind and share locality. We discussed about health of resident and he he said that there were one or two cases of cancer. Most of people suffer from stone because of salty water otherwise there were no surgeon at havelock island because they don't need. Incase any accident happened then government helicopter be there with in 15 to 20 min after call and it's a free of cost. Now a days health is the bigger issue. So it's very impressive plus point of resident. One more thing which we liked was that there were a different way to in and out from jetty so there were not traffic issues.
Our Cruz was booked in advance from havelock to nail island. At nail island also our car was ready and if you were planned by your self, don't worry about pick up and drop service because it's a tourist place so you can easily book your car or two wheelers with your hotel help.
Around 11 to 11:30 o'clock we were arrived at Neil Island. We stayed at Tango beach Resort and it's also at beach. By help of our car driver we hired a activa.
After rest we left our hotel around 2 o'clock and fuel up our activa(Rs.300 fuel is enough to cover whole Island).
First we visited Laxmanpur beach 2 where we witnessed the beautiful marvel of nature itself, a Natural Bridge.
You can also take a beach walk to watch some magnificent corals and ecosystems of coral life lives there. You can also find Nemo fish at Nemo point.
video to be uploaded here
There is also another natural bridge at this beach but people often visit here you can see it from the first natural bridge.
After that we travelled to Laxmanpur Beach 2 which is know for its sandy beach and sunset. we spend some quality time here because the beach atmosphere is so peaceful here. The sound of the waves are so romantic here. Here are some photographs of this beach.
